Kostas Coutayar <\/span>was born in Piraeus <\/span>in 1963. Studied at <\/span>Royal College of Art (Fine <\/span>Arts and Communications <\/span>Arts) in London and <\/span>worked in Athens <\/span>initially as an art director for industries <\/span>and advertising agencies. <\/span>This profession brought him in contact with the <\/span>magazine world and <\/span>he decided in 1986 to <\/span>jump into the profession <\/span>of the photographer. <\/span>In a short time he was one <\/span>from the best known <\/span>and more successful <\/span>fashion photographers.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has collaborated with almost all Greek magazines (Gynaika, ELLE, MarieClair, Status, CLICK, Vogue, etc.), as well as with foreign publications (L\u2019Uommo Vogue, GQ, Mondo Uommo, Glamour, Italian Max, Jardin De Mode, Depeche Mode, Esquire), He also was shooting many international campaigns such as Davidoff, Krizia, Trussardi,and Polaroid.\u00a0 <\/span>He was responsible for designing and directing the insert magazine VIEW of the newspaper KATHIMERINI. He founded the Smile agency, which represented photographers and other professionals in fashion and advertising.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pigment fine art prints have a lifespan of up to 50 years or even more, depending on the specifications of each paper (OBA percentage, acid free, etc.). Acryluxe prints have a lifetime of up to 10 years or even more,<\/span> as defined by the certifications provided by the manufacturing companies. ChromaLuxe Metal Prints have a lifetime of up to 64 years, as defined by the certifications provided by the manufacturing company ChromaLuxe and Wilhelm Imaging Research, without these being at the same time a guarantee of lifetime and this because there can be no control as to conditions in which the prints are exposed at the end.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These certifications tests have been carried out under specific exposure conditions, such as indoor use, no sunlight or uv radiation, 20\u02daC \u2013 28\u02daC temperature, 60% humidity and absence of environmental or other air pollution. Any deviation from the above can reduce the lifespan and affect the quality of the prints. Under normal conditions of sun exposure (direct or even reflected), the lifespan can be reduced to less than 5 years. The products sold on the Site are digital prints some of them numbered and in limited edition. The digital prints are offered in one or more formats and print options, according to the suggestions made between the artist or his\/her representatives and Signature Prints.<\/span> The final paper print may be modified without any prior warning but replaced by a similar characteristics paper.<\/span> The digital prints are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity in English.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
