Dimitra Papageorgiou is an artist best known for self-portrait, contrived photography, experimental photography and alternative lighting techniques. She was born in Athens and graduated with a diploma in Public Relations and Communication from the Ionian Technological Institute. She has been actively involved in photography since 2010 and has attended seminars of Platon Rivellis, Ioanna Vasdeki, Jeff Vanderpool and workshops of Fotograficus and Depression Era. In 2014 she started studying Photography and Audiovisual Arts at the Univercity of West Attica as well as a Two-Year Scholarship program at Orama Photography Studies which successfully completed on time. In 2015 she was awarded for her portfolio work \u201dHome\u201d in the International Nikon photography contest. In 2016 she started giving lessons in Orama photography studies. She has taken part in several group exhibitions and competitions since her very start in photography.<\/p>\n
As a still photographer and videographer Dimitra is well known for her collaboration with the party makers Banana Boys, Athens Pride Festival and Drag shows in Athens. However in 2017 her personal point of view lead the way for a personal photography workshop \u201cThe art of Self-portrait\u201d at Tri Art Hub in Koukaki.<\/p>\n
Dimitra has several publications in magazines, articles, books and websites across Europe. She currently lives and works in Athens.<\/p>\n

ChromaLuxe Metal Prints have a lifetime of up to 64 years, as defined by the certifications provided by the manufacturing company ChromaLuxe and Wilhelm Imaging Research, without these being at the same time a guarantee of lifetime and this because there can be no control as to conditions in which the prints are exposed at the end.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n These certifications tests have been carried out under specific exposure conditions, such as indoor use, no sunlight or uv radiation, 20\u02daC \u2013 28\u02daC temperature, 60% humidity and absence of environmental or other air pollution. Any deviation from the above can reduce the lifespan and affect the quality of the prints. Under normal conditions of sun exposure (direct or even reflected), the lifespan can be reduced to less than 5 years.
